With inspectors certified to CWB Level 1, 2 and 3, RAE Engineering and Inspection Ltd. is fully capable of providing shop surveillance monitoring for any size project. When you use our monitoring service, you can be assured that your fabricated equipment will arrive on site in compliance with the design and with the QA/QC packages complete and accurate in accordance with jurisdictional requirements. In addition to our work in the conventional petroleum industry, RAE Engineering has developed extensive expertise in the shop inspection of SAGD module fabrication facilities.
RAE Engineering can also perform surveillance monitoring of incoming materials and MTR’s through the packaging and shipping stages. This will help ensure that deficiencies are mitigated and corrected cost effectively prior to the products arrival on site.
The RAE Engineering shop inspector also performs a “ready to ship” inspection prior to signing the shipping release ensuring that the product departs intact with all associated equipment and an updated deficiency list if required.
RAE Engineering has also garnered extensive SAGD module fabrication shop experience over the past few years.
RAE has added a new technology to help in this area in the past year: 3-D Laser Scanning. Using our Laser Scanner service and associated software, you can be assured that large project modules will fit together properly when they arrive on site. And as a bonus, you will have accurate as-built drawings ready when the AB-81 Completion of Construction documentation is signed off.
