RAE Engineering uses liquid penetrant (PT) inspectors certified to CGSB Level 2.

Liquid penetrant testing is employed in the inspection on non-ferrous materials in boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping and some tanks.

Various techniques such the standard red penetrant to fluorescent or the less common fluorescein inspection for tube exchanger inspections.
