Discontinuation and Abandonment

• Identifying candidates, from the pipeline inventory, for discontinuation or abandonment.
• Planning and preparation of the decommissioning operation:

          - Determining resource requirements,

          - Arranging for equipment and personnel, and

          - Managing collection and disposal of fluids and debris

• On-site supervision of decommissioning activities.
• Documenting the pipeline decommissioning.
• Submitting appropriate notifications, applications, and amendments with the appropriate regulatory body.
