Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) 

The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) is the professional organization for technicians and technologists in the Province of Alberta and in the Canadian Territories. ASET was incorporated on August 1st, 1963.

ASET evaluates the qualifications of individuals who voluntarily apply for certification, and issues professional credentials accordingly, based on national standards related to education, experience and professionalism.

ASET membership consists of approximately 16,500 individuals, including full-time technology students, recent graduates and fully certified members.

Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC) 

Technologists, technicians and technical specialists achieve professional recognition through the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC). The eight largest self-regulating association in BC, ASTTBC has registered 9,500+ Technology Professionals.

Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT) 

The Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT) is a self-governing body of men and women who have been certified by their peers as having a recognized level of post-secondary academic and practical training in a specialized applied science / engineering technology field.

The Association was formerly established under the name of The Society of Engineering Technicians and Technologists of Saskatchewan (SETTS) in 1965. In 1988, the members voted unanimously to change to their present name which encompasses all disciplines of registration.
